Meet Megan Robinson
Fuelled by: Coffee, Animals & The Movement Connection
With 16+ years in the fitness industry, I am proud to call myself a Movement Specialist and Equestrian Biomechanics + Fitness Coach. My goal is to work with you to identify what muscles are working effectively in your body, and what muscles are not working as efficiently as they could be to help balance your body and stabilize your structure in space. I use a variety of movement modalities, including, but not limited to, Pilates, Yoga, Strength & Conditioning, etc. to work towards proper muscle firing patterns, improved range of motion and/or stability to your joints; as well as, decrease in pain, increase in core strength, and improving muscle awareness by enhancing ones mind-body connections.
In my personal life, I have experienced many physical set backs, including three kidney transplants (yes, three), surgery to correct a scoliosis curve with Herrington Rods and most recently, being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome in March 2020. Through my own rehabilitation processes, I have learned first hand the struggle of recovery, and am able to empathize with clients experiencing their own physical and mental set backs.
I love that my job allows me to work with a wide variety of clients, including individuals recovering from injuries, elite athletes, and those wanting to improve their overall fitness and quality of life.
No matter what your goal is, I look forward to getting to know you, and helping you get to know your own body a bit better through safe and effective movement!
Yours in strength & wellness,
Megan Robinson
